Its been a long time ..

Here's a recap of my last 4 months ..

our family dog Dulce de Leche had a litter of 

10 Labradoodle Puppies

on September 22, 2011

I created a blog REDBARNLABRADOODLES

to find great new homes for our PUPS!

Most of my blogging time was spent posting on this site.

.. puppies first playtime on grass ..

.. took 10 Puppies to the vet

 that was interesting ? ..

Travelled to Palm Springs twice in November 

to check up on my third renovation project ..

BEFORE ..

.. AFTER

.. took a quick trip to Chicago

 to visit some friends 2nd week in December ..

.. holiday shopping and store windows were amazing ..

.. of course the Jonathan Adler store was a must

on the TO DO LIST .. ..

.. a beautiful store

filled with inspiring pieces ..

Chicago is a City with many well known restaurants including..

FRONTERA GRILL 

..  reservations for lunch at Frontera Grill

where I was lucky enough to have my cookbook signed

by the award winning restauranteur

 Rick Bayless ..

.. if you love Mexican you must visit one of his 3 restaurants

Frontera Grill, Tompolobampo & XOCO

the food was amazing !

.. if you don't already know I am a big ANTHROPOLOGIE fan ..

and whenever I travel I make an effort to visit the local store 

.. the store in Chicago had an amazing home section !

.. so much to see ..

 I didn't know which way to turn?

.. cool signage on an original brick wall inside Anthropologie ..

Next ..

Packed up the family for Christmas Holidays ..

 I packed everyone of these candles to bring down to our vaction home

I know a little crazy? 

It only took 3 suitcases to distribute the weight !

A little more work on the house over the holidays ..

maybe too much ?

A well planned Kitchen with loads of storage !

 Move In Ready !

working with my husband to complete 26 Town Homes

from the ground up !

I have been busy ..

My Daily Routine has Changed ..

.. need I say more ..

.. ten puppies that are now 5-1/2 weeks old 

and available for adoption November 19th, 2011

Fieldstone Vintage Market

Picture Perfect Day At The Market 

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day
at this open air market !

The sun was shinning and the wind was calm.

I had my vintage bed set up piled with

vintage textiles. Chenille bedspreads and pillows, & embroidered linens -

stitched up and made into pillows.

The only thing I didn't have time to do was

to spend more time talking and taking pics of the other vendors & their booths.

This vintage picnic basket is a favorite of mine ..

with its vintage inspired tickinging liner with ruffle.

Another vintage doll carriage ..

this one is woven with thick paper and string,

linen is made from vintage feed sack, and quilt.

These beautiful animals made the perfect backdrop/entertainment

for everyone who visited that day.

The Puppies Are 6 Days Old

The puppies are now six days old ..

Dulce had a break today from the puppies.

Lets say it was a Spa Day ..

Lots of bubbles and a blow dry !

          

Then it was back to the puppy pile.

The puppies are sleeping lots ..

It is so fun to watch them stretch and roll around.

Good Night Everyone ..

All is Well ..

Today is day Two 

and

all is well for Dulce and her 10 Puppies !

Mama is so patient and good to her pups.

A lot of sleeping has been going on ..

The Puppies love to sleep all over their mama.

And of course they are always hungry.

How cute are they all lined up.

Savannah was there first thing after school to take over for me.

Lots of hugs and kisses ..

Its a dog's life !

TEN PUPPIES

.. all are beautiful and healthy ..

Mom is doing well & looking after her new pups !

My daughter Savannah lines them all up

and makes sure they all get a chance to feed .. 

.. 8 cream & 2 black puppies ..

5 girls and 5 boys

.. brothers and sisters are snuggled together ..

Puppies are everywhere ..

It is hard to keep track of them all

but the one with the twine around him

is no. 10

and proudly delivered by my 9 year old son Sterling.

Time for a little rest

It's been a busy day!

Labrodoodle Puppies ..

Our 2 - 1/2 year old Labrodoodle Dulce de Leche is having puppies!

We are expecting them to arrive sometime this week - Sept. 23rd.

Hello ..

So nice to meet you !

Let me tell you a little about myself ..

I am a 2nd generation Labrodoodle.

My mother is a Standard Poodle and my father is a Labrodoodle.

This is me at 5 months old.

I know I am too cute !

My favorite color is red and this is where I sleep every night.

I am always ready to play!

The father of the puppies is a purebred Black Lab named Chance.

I am getting really sleepy. 

I think it is time for a little nap.

I will let you know when the puppies arrive !
